DRUM ROASTER

Green to gold. You control the transformation.

Recipe — 200–250g green beans · 200–230°C · 12–18 minutes

  • Preheat the drum to 200°C before loading.
  • Add beans. Keep them moving — the drum does this for you.
  • Listen for First Crack around 8–10 minutes. Light roast stops here.
  • Continue 2–3 minutes past First Crack for medium. Push further for dark.
  • Drop beans immediately. Cool fast — spread on a tray and stir.

Dial In: Uneven colour → check drum speed · Grassy or raw taste → extend time · Too bitter → drop earlier · Scorched beans → lower charge temperature

First crack is your signal. What you do next defines the cup.
